General Course Description:
1. discussion of the fundamental concepts of Heat Transfer
2. introduction to the widely used heat transfer operations and heat transfer equipments in chemical processes
3. discussion of the fundamental concepts of Mass Transfer

課程要求 |
Course Objectives:
1.understand the energy transfer mechanism, heat flux, heat transfer rate, temperature difference
2.understand the thermal conductivity, Fourier’s law of heat conduction and know how to apply them to analyze and solve the heat conduction problem
3.be familiar with shell energy balance and how to apply them to analyze the heat transfer problem
4.understand the convective heat transfer and apply them to internal flow system
5.understand the thermal boundary layer theory and applied them to external flow system
6.understand the heat transfer with phase change
7.be familiar with heat transfer equipment for different chemical processes
8.understand the basic radiation heat transfer
9.understand the theory of diffusion, fluxes, molecular diffusivity, and Fick’s first and second law of diffusion and apply them to analyze the diffusion processes.
